Hex Breaking Reversal Ritual

Hex Breaking Reversal Ritual

This ritual is designed to dismantle curses, envy, and harmful energy directed toward you. It draws heavily on Santa Muerte’s black aspect for protection and power. This comes from a book, Secrets of Santa Muerte: A Guide to the Prayers, Spells.

While I'm sure many people have opinions on this book, it is filled with great inspiration for devotees and beginners on their path.

I've included this because I find it valuable to share all the information I can find that others might have obstacles to accessing for whatever reason. Thank La Santa for this opportunity.

Materials Needed:

  • Black Candle: Symbolizing protection and the cutting away of harmful forces.
  • Herbs for Burning:
    • Garlic peel: To remove envy and malevolent energy.
    • Rue: Known for its power to cleanse and dispel curses.
    • Copal or Sage: For purification and spiritual protection.
  • Offerings: Include a glass of water, black incense, and possibly black flowers.
  • Prayer: A focused, spoken invocation to Santa Muerte, calling on her to shield you and reverse the harm.

Steps of the Ritual:

  1. Preparation:

    • Begin by cleansing your altar with incense, ensuring it is free from any lingering negative energy.
    • Light the herbs (garlic peel, rue, and copal) and allow their smoke to suffuse your altar and surroundings. Envision this smoke forming a protective barrier.
  2. Lighting the Candle:

    • Place the black candle in the center of your altar.
    • Light it using a match (never a lighter) and state your intent aloud: “Santa Muerte, I call on you in your black form to remove all harm and evil from my path.”
  3. Prayer to Santa Muerte:

    • Recite a prayer specifically asking her to break the hex and protect you:
      • "Most Holy Death, in your black cloak, you are the guardian of my soul. With your scythe, sever all curses, envy, and evil that cling to me. Let them dissolve into nothingness, and may your protection surround me like a fortress."
    • Repeat this prayer three times, each time visualizing the scythe of Santa Muerte cutting away the negativity.
  4. Final Offering:

    • Leave an offering of water, liquor, or black incense on the altar as thanks.
    • Allow the candle to burn completely. Inspect the wax for signs—smooth and clean wax indicates success, while uneven or broken patterns may suggest further work is needed.
  5. Follow-Up Cleansing:

    • Bathe in a rue or sage-infused herbal bath to cleanse your body and spirit of residual energy.
